Reggie

I got my Reggie (Labrador) from pets 4 homes too. In July.

I remember being so worried that he would become ill as soon as he arrived home as I had read to many awful stories. Luckily he was fine but I agree pets 4 homes need to have better regulations or policies. We got Reggie at just 6 weeks old because the breeder wanted rid of them and said they were fine to leave their mam. (Even though it’s not reccomended to leave until 8 weeks.) He came to us unvaccinated too. I’m so sorry this happened to you I can’t imagine the heartbreak your family have gone through.

I didn’t sleep the first few nights we got him because I was convinced he was going to have the virus and with him being so young and unvaccinated he wouldn’t of had a chance. it has happened to so many people, I joined a group on Facebook called new puppy owners help & support and there are so many stories just like yours.
