Hi. I’ve just found your page. We purchased a pup from a seller in St Helen’s on Sunday and have had to put him to sleep today he had a grade 5 heart murmur and parvovirus. Pup seems very likely to have come from Ireland too. Do you know anything that could help us with the next steps on how to get these awful people?!

JoJo was purchased from a house/flat in St Helen’s. The people there were not Irish by accent, they had a Merseyside accent and actually could have been under the age of 18 or definitely a young adult! The original post was put on Pets4homes by the young girls Mum and I’m obviously not sure where she is from.

We purchased from what was probably a set up flat in St Helen’s but the dog had come from Ireland -We have his vaccination record although the vet suspected this was forged or partially forged. We had no idea he had come from there until the vet pointed it out alongside all the other issues when we took him to the vet the next day

Address where we collected him, bank number and phone number. Of course the phone number is not responding to any messages or calls now. We saw him advertised on Pets4Homes. We have contacted them and the RSPCA so far.

The name on the advert was Emma and we think the daughters name was Mia. There was a young lad there as well. The house was probably a set up looking back.

It’s just so difficult to know how to feel. One minute he was running around loving life with us and being so lovely and cuddly and happy, next minute his heart is failing and he is pooping blood. But he still just wanted to be close to us even when he was dying. It’s so hard to think straight at the moment. Yesterday was the most traumatic experience of my life so far. But I know we have a lot to do and will keep pushing.
