Hugo
We have received another heart-breaking story from a brave lady who has been a victim to unscrupulous breeders 💙🐾
I bought a beautiful black Labrador pup from Liverpool, after losing my 12 year old Labrador only a month before. I brought him home on 12/3/2021 and by the following Wednesday he was off his food and we took him straight to the vet. They diagnosed him with parvovirus.
Hugo received 8 days of incredible treatment, we were lucky enough to be able to visit him every day, the vet brought him out to our car whilst he was in isolation. The heartbreak of seeing no improvement after all this time and seeing him so unhappy we made the best decision for Hugo and let him go. Hugo loved his new home as soon as we brought him home, he would always want to be close to everyone and even slept on my head!
It is such a mixture of emotions we are feeling from heartbreak to utter rage that these people can do this to a defenceless and loving boy.
I have lost contact with the seller, I have written to them but received no response from them on this matter. I am now working with Animal Protection Services who are dedicated to prosecuting organised animal cruelty including puppy farming. Although Hugo had such a short life I hope his legacy will be long as he was a very much loved family member.
