Warrick
We found Warrick on Pets for home. Said £2000 and ready now. Spoke the the guy on the phone said first time Breeding not advertised due to covid. Had 7 arrange to view and naively collect.
Arrived and only 2 pups were left they said mum wasn't there as she was distressed at pups going. Although the breeder said we could go and see mum, she was with partners mother. We took Warrick did a bank transfer.
Warrick was okay the first night.
Second day he didn't want his food, but drinking tons. Took him to the vet to start his jabs again with an ethical breeder jabs and insurance would be in place! We have a pedigree cat so we know this but caught up in the moment sadly. Vet didn't want to do the jabs felt he had lots of fluid in his belly. Came away with some treatment. Kept the vile breeder up to date. I slept with Warrick in the kitchen as I was so worried that night.
He was back in the vet that morning as had sickness and diarrhoea. Parvo test was positive and treatment was started. Handed him over ploughed £1650 to trying to save him, but no money was going to he was very poorly. The breeder stayed in contact until Warrick was admitted into the vet. Then no communication and later found he has left the rented property.
Found the other puppies on fb 3 died too and he abandoned the other pups at a vet.
We are devastated we had made a decision to have a puppy and working from home gave us the opportunity to make special memoires we will never have. This case is under investigation so I can't say much more at this point.
The breeder received a prison sentence, click the article below to read.
