Kingsley

I feel so sorry for you but sadly I know how you feel. I bought a Blenheim pup for my partner back in May 2011, for his birthday. We bought little Kingsley from Carmarthen in Wales.

A year later he began having problems in the end he was in the vets. Kingsley was pacing back and forth in the bedroom at night, he was sick, falling over. He didn’t come when called. He went under the bed and we couldn’t get him out. He was in the vets for a week, we brought him home and he was walking funny and acting strange. The vets seemed to of sort him out. But after a month he went funny again. The vets sent us to Derby, the vet there was really nice. He found fluid from the brain to the spine. A month after the vet had diagnosed him he passed away. I cried for the week, I was heartbroken.

He passed away at two years old. We didn’t expect to lose him so quickly. Before it happened he didn’t want to go for a walk, he was very lethargic I knew something wasn’t right with him. I have his ashes with me still. We saw the mum before we bought Kingsley. She was a ruby absolutely beautiful.
We felt broken after losing Kingsley, 6th June 2013 he died. My husband took it really bad. Animals have an attachment to us as we do them.

Lucy’s Law wasn’t around when Kingsley was purchased. There was nothing in place to protect animals. We researched into it. The sellers were nice and seemed genuine while buying the pup. It was for my partner, he had a dog with his previous family, and I fell in love with the picture’s he showed me and wanted to have a dog of our own. We got a dog a few years after losing Kingsley, but unfortunately it didn’t work, we couldn’t cope as he kept urinating on everything. We have since adopted a dog from Dogs Trust and have had him for 6 years now.

I think people should make sure they do good research to make sure they are genuine. The heartache is horrendous an no one should go through it. You must fight this. Don't let them get away with it.
