Daisy - 04/2023
We saw an advert on Pets 4 home and contacted the Breeder and she replied quite quick so I asked for pictures. She sent them and then I asked when I could view, she said we could that evening so we went. When arrived she took us to a caravan where there was a baby pen with 2 Labrador puppies, one of which I had already chosen and named her Daisy.
I paid via bank transfer it was all very quick she told me she had sold all the other puppies from the litter. When I asked to see mum she pointed to a dog but did not bring her over .
We took Daisy home she was quite subdued but cheered up when we got inside our home. I slept downstairs on the sofa with her and on the second night she started having the runs then she started being sick but not continuously, we thought this could have been due to change of home and away from mum and fretting. The next day she was very lethargic so I called the vets they said bring her in for 9am the following day, again another bad night. We arrived at the vets when they opened and Daisy was admitted on the Friday ( my birthday). We paid for all treatments possible asking for them to try everything, unfortunately she passed away on the Monday. £3500 vet bill, this woman knew Daisy was seriously ill, if she was taken to a vet earlier she may have still been alive. She suffered so much and no amount of treatment saved her.
RIP Beautiful Daisy
