Finlay
We bought a pup through Pets4Homes on 14th December, sadly the pup passed away not even a week later riddled with worms. We had the seller blocked from using the site, but have since gotten information from the mobile they were using. It looks like the scum are passing pups to so called homes to sell, we have sent all the information to trading standards and the pup was from Barnsley area.
I can’t send names and addresses as yet as this may go against the investigation. We bought through Pets4Homes, Barnsley, Husky puppy’s. No mum and dad at the house we picked up from. £1550 each
5 girls and 1 boy Finley was the fawn one our boy I traced 2 other pups and they ok but I don’t think ours was even from same litter.
We have given trading standards all the information. The person the phone was registered to, the person who the deposit went to, and we traced them to social media they are Irish and breed dogs. We received a number to ring, we passed it onto Trading Standards and heard nothing back.
I found lots of information also, the vets they used have information i.e. a different name and address on their system but they wouldn’t tell me due to data protection.
I still have the vets book with the name on it. When I phoned asking what treatment the pups had they said address was different to where I bought him from. She also said it was the first time they had registered at the vets, they all had first injections and was given a tube of flea treatment each. But when asked by the vet if they had been wormed they refused treatment saying they had done it from pets at home.
The woman who we bought him off said vets had treated him for worm’s.
The address was different and they had never been registered at vets she put a red flag on account in case they took another litter of pups in.
I won’t ever get over it we lost our husky in November aged 8 but we knew what was coming as he had a spinal tumour but we never in a million years thought we would lose Finlay after 1 week I never realised how big this is we now have a rescue dog.
Daft thing was alarm bells rang as soon as I entered the dingy flat we got him from but if I went back in time I still wouldn’t have left him there.
I contacted the site straight away and their account was blocked but they will have another up and running soon after it’s too easy. Ad’s should be checked thoroughly before being added on to the selling sites.
People need to stop using these sites they are not safe it should be made hard to sell pups anywhere it’s too easy as it is now. It’s not the money it’s the heartbreak that’s hard.
RIP FINLAY x
